Check "Driver's License Penalty Points" Now on KB and Tmap Private Apps

Government Launches Information Disclosure Service
"Penalty Points Inquiry" Now Available on KB Star Banking and Tmap
"Children's Museum Visit Reservations" Also Accessible

From now on, "driver's license penalty points" can also be checked through private apps. Previously, this information was only available on the Korea National Police Agency's Traffic Civil Service 24 website and app, but it can now also be accessed via the KB Kookmin Bank and Tmap Mobility apps.

On September 22, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that it would implement this information disclosure service to raise drivers' awareness and encourage the habitual observance of traffic regulations.

This new service also includes "National Museum of Korea Children's Museum Visit Reservations." The Children's Museum at the National Museum of Korea receives up to 500,000 visitors annually, and reservations are mandatory for visits. Previously, reservations could only be made through the National Museum of Korea website, but now they can also be conveniently made through private apps.

The "driver's license penalty points inquiry" service can be accessed in the KB Star Banking app by selecting "Kookmin Wallet → My Car Registration → Driver's License Penalty Points Inquiry." In the Tmap app, users can select "Penalty Points Inquiry" from the main service screen or the always-on Car Life section. The "National Museum of Korea Children's Museum Visit Reservation" service can be used in the i-ONE Bank app by selecting "Public+ → National Museum of Korea Children's Museum" to make a reservation. Unlike the National Museum of Korea website, reservations can be made as a non-member without signing up for an account.

Lim Jeonggyu, Director of Public Services, stated, "With the opening of digital services, the public can not only access public services through private apps, but the procedures for using these services have also been simplified for greater convenience. Through cooperation between the private sector and the government, we will provide public services that people can truly experience and actively support the further expansion of digital service openness."
