"Where Should SMEs Go?"... 2025 Small and Medium Business Leaders Forum Opens

Held for Four Days Until the 26th
"Challenge and Innovation, Toward the World and the Future!" as the Slogan

The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 22nd that it will host the '2025 Small and Medium Business Leaders Forum' with more than 400 representatives of SMEs from various industries across the country.

The Korea Federation of SMEs will hold the forum at Lotte Hotel Jeju for four days and three nights from the 23rd to the 26th. The Small and Medium Business Leaders Forum, which began in 2007, is the largest economic forum in Korea, providing management strategies and future visions for SMEs.


Now in its 18th year, the Small and Medium Business Leaders Forum will be held under the theme "Challenge and Innovation, To the World, To the Future!" The forum aims to highlight how SMEs will take the lead in overcoming the structural crisis of the Korean economy by securing future growth engines for Korea through the challenges and innovations of SME entrepreneurs.


This year, Han Sung-sook, Minister of SMEs and Startups, will also attend to introduce the current administration's policy vision for SMEs and its key initiatives.


On the second day of the forum, a "Seminar on Strategies for Entering the U.S. Market" will be held to address the recent issue of U.S. tariffs. U.S.-based experts such as Barney Lee, CEO of Hanmi Bank; Park Kihong, CEO of Hub International; and Scott Lee, Managing Attorney of LBBS Korean Group, will participate to provide practical solutions to SME representatives seeking to enter the U.S. market.


In addition, the forum will feature lectures from prominent figures in various fields, including Han Hosung, Director of Seongnam City Medical Center; Jung Kyung, Director of Operama Arts Management Research Institute; Choi Seongae, Director of HD Happiness Research Institute; Hwang Changyeon, Priest of St. Philippo Ecological Village; and Sun Kim, historical storyteller. There will also be community-sharing activities, such as shopping at the Moseulpo Central Market to donate to welfare facilities in the Seogwipo area, to promote mutual growth with the local community.


Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, "Now in its 18th year, the Small and Medium Business Leaders Forum has established itself as Korea's leading forum for addressing rapidly changing social issues and seeking solutions. With a variety of lectures and programs prepared under the theme of 'Challenge and Innovation' this year, I hope that participating CEOs will gain insights to prepare for the future while creating beautiful memories of autumn in Jeju."
