This festival, hosted by the Gangwon Tourism Organization (CEO Choi Sunghyun) in collaboration with Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and Hwacheon County, was planned as part of the "2025-2026 Visit Gangwon Years" initiative to establish the border area as an attractive tourist destination enjoyed by all generations.

The special performances, set against the beautiful autumn scenery of the Bukhan River in Hwacheon, were the highlight of the festival. With witty hosting by broadcaster Hyun Young and performances by Super Junior's Sungmin and Oh Seungha from "Miss Trot 3," the event gave the audience unforgettable autumn memories and inspiration.

A variety of associated programs also achieved great success. The "DMZ Peace Road Walk" with influencers served as an opportunity to widely promote Hwacheon's hidden gems, such as Paroho Lake, through social media, while the "Hwacheon Tourist Attractions Self-Guided Tour on Foot" program encouraged visitor spending in the region and was credited with revitalizing the local economy.

In particular, the festival was praised as a safe and enjoyable event along the waterfront, thanks to the active cooperation of the Hwacheon Fire Station and Police Station.

Choi Sunghyun, CEO of the Gangwon Tourism Organization, stated, "I would like to thank everyone who attended the first DMZ Emotional Festival (Vibe Festa) held in Hwacheon. The success of this festival proves the limitless tourism potential of the border area, and we will continue to open a new future for Gangwon tourism through sustainable tourism models that coexist with local communities."

Meanwhile, the "DMZ Emotional Festival (Vibe Festa)," which promotes the appeal of the border region, is scheduled to continue its momentum on October 25 in Bangsan-myeon, Yanggu, and on November 8 in Seohwa-myeon, Inje.
