[Click eStock] "Softcamp Continues to Receive Attention for RBI Solution Blocking Hacking Attempts"

On September 22, independent research firm ValueFinder analyzed that Softcamp is drawing continued attention due to increasing demand for its RBI (Remote Browser Isolation) solution, which blocks hacking attempts amid the recent hacking super cycle, including the recent Lotte Card breach.

On September 18, Lotte Card publicly disclosed the incident and issued a nationwide apology. With the personal information of 2.97 million members leaked, there are significant concerns about direct damage. A more serious issue is that traces of the external attack were only discovered 17 days after the initial incident. Security threats have persisted this year, as seen in incidents involving SK Telecom, Yes24, and KT. As a result, there is growing interest in alternatives that can prevent such breaches.

Currently, Softcamp supplies its RBI (Remote Browser Isolation) solution to the public and financial sectors. RBI is a solution that enables organizations to use external generative AI services or access the internet while blocking harmful security threats.

Lee Chungheon, a researcher at ValueFinder, stated, "Softcamp's solution is known to be popular among public sector clients because it allows safe access to external networks while maintaining the existing internal network structure," adding, "Amid the current hacking super cycle, this solution could become a preferred choice for corporate clients."

Additionally, Lee noted, "All issues related to embezzlement and breach of trust that occurred in June have been fully resolved. Moreover, in the second quarter, which is typically the off-season, the company returned to profitability thanks to increased corporate client subscriptions and normalization of sales prices. This is a noteworthy sign that profitability is gradually recovering."
