On Monday, the 22nd, morning temperatures are expected to drop to as low as 12 degrees Celsius, with the daily temperature range widening to around 10 degrees.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 21st, the morning low on the 22nd will range from 12 to 21 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high will be between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius, which is similar to the seasonal averages (morning low of 12 to 19 degrees, daytime high of 23 to 27 degrees). In particular, many inland areas will experience a significant difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures, with the range widening to around 10 degrees.
In Jeju, rain is expected from the night of the 21st into the morning of the 22nd, with anticipated precipitation amounts between 5 and 20 millimeters.
On the 22nd and 23rd, strong winds with instantaneous speeds of around 55 km/h (15 m/s) are forecast for the coastal areas of South Jeolla and South Gyeongsang Provinces, and up to 70 km/h (20 m/s) in the mountainous regions of Jeju. Caution is advised to prevent safety accidents.
Additionally, strong winds and high waves are expected in the southern offshore areas of the West Sea, the western offshore areas of the South Sea, and the seas around Jeju, raising the possibility of a high seas warning being issued.
