Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province held the "2025 Changwon Welfare Buzz Talk" at Megabox Changwon.

The event, organized by the Changwon Social Welfare Council, took place on September 19 and was attended by over 100 people, including Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, Kwon Sunghyun, Vice Chairman of the Changwon Special City Council, city council members, heads of social welfare-related organizations, and social workers.

The program included the following: ▲ Awards for distinguished service ▲ Sharing of the Changwon Social Welfare Council's achievements ▲ Screening of the film "Inseparable Bros."

During the awards ceremony, fourteen individuals were honored, including Ryu Sunhwa, head of the Ungdong Community Child Center, who received the Social Welfare Grand Prize for her contributions to the healthy growth of the local community and children. Afterward, participants watched the film "Inseparable Bros.," reflecting on the importance of family and sharing thoughts on the value of welfare.

Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, expressed gratitude for the dedication and passion of social welfare professionals who support marginalized neighbors. He added, "I hope this event will serve as an opportunity for social welfare professionals to unite and renew their commitment. Our city will also do its utmost to establish a cooperative social welfare system so that all citizens can enjoy happiness, responding to the increasingly complex and diverse welfare needs."
