A Foul Odor from a Sealed Room... YouTuber Who Previously Discovered a Body Finds Another During Haunted House Exploration

YouTuber Dosauchi Discovers Body During Exploration on the 13th
Viewers Criticize Police After Request for Photos

A YouTuber filming a haunted house experience video discovered a corpse in an abandoned building and reported it to the police. This YouTuber had also previously discovered a body inside a car last summer.

On September 16, the YouTuber "Dosauchi" uploaded an edited video of a livestream from September 13 to his channel, titled "Rest in Peace."

At the time, Dosauchi and an acquaintance were exploring an abandoned resort in Sancheong County, South Gyeongsang Province. The resort had been left unattended after operations were suspended due to a fire in August 2023, and it was further neglected following a landslide this summer.

While walking down a dark hallway, Dosauchi and his acquaintance found a guest room at the end of the third floor that was swarmed with carrion beetles. The room’s door and windows were sealed with plastic, and a foul odor was emanating from inside. Sensing something was wrong, Dosauchi opened the door and entered, discovering a severely decomposed body, presumed to be a man, lying on the bed.

Dosauchi immediately left the building and called the police. However, the police at the time asked, "Are you sure someone is dead?" and requested a photo of the scene. As a result, he re-entered the room, took a photo of the body, and sent it to the police. After the police arrived on site, he personally guided them to the room.

After this process became public, some viewers criticized the police response, questioning whether it was appropriate to send a civilian back into a dangerous scene. Dosauchi explained, "They only requested a photo because they thought I was still at the scene; it wasn’t absolutely necessary for me to go back in."

Dosauchi concluded the video by expressing his condolences, saying, "I feel sorry to have met the deceased. Rest in peace." The police are currently investigating the identity of the deceased and the cause of death.

Previously, in August of last year, Dosauchi also discovered a body inside a parked car in a remote area while filming a haunted house exploration video. At that time, there was an unresponsive occupant inside the car, and when the police and fire authorities, responding to the report, forcibly opened the door, it was revealed that the person had already passed away.

At the time, Dosauchi expressed his regret, saying, "If I had explored the area even a little earlier, maybe I could have saved them."
