Jeonnam Province announced that the 14th 2025 Korea Integrated Medicine Expo will be held in Jangheung for five days starting on the 26th, under the theme "Healing, Answered by Integrated Medicine."
This year's expo will begin with an opening ceremony on the 26th and will provide a meaningful platform to explore the present and future of integrated medicine, encompassing modern medicine, alternative medicine, and natural healing. The event is expected to offer new health solutions for local residents.
Notably, this year the expo has taken on an international character, with increased participation from overseas medical institutions and therapy companies. A variety of international medical and healing content booths will be operated, including a Japanese counseling psychology center, a Chinese beauty center, Vietnamese foot massage therapy, and the Korea-Japan Exchange Association. These will provide visitors with opportunities to directly experience integrated medicine trends from both Korea and abroad.
Cultural content reflecting the identity of "Jangheung, the Nobel Literary City" also stands out. In the Wellness Healing Zone, there will be an exhibition booth featuring Nobel Prize-winning literary works, and an emotional experience space will be created where literature and healing come together through programs such as the Healing Garden Book Picnic and a mobile library.
In addition, the main stage of the expo will feature performances and experiences tailored to different generations, such as a fusion Korean traditional music concert and a shuffle dance class, making it a healthy festival that everyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy.
Jeong Gwangseon, Director of Health and Welfare at Jeonnam Province, said, "I hope you will experience a special time in Jangheung, where the knowledge of integrated medicine and the sensibility of literature flow together, allowing both body and mind to be healed."
