This training consists of hands-on courses that can be immediately applied in the field, ranging from young people preparing to start a cafe to returnees to farming who dream of settling in rural areas.
The main programs include: ▲Barista Certification (September 11-October 13), ▲Rural Life Skills Practice (September 15-17), ▲Agricultural Machinery Safety and Basic Practice (September 18-19), and ▲AI Rural Marketing (September 30-October 1).
The barista certification course, which opened first, runs for four weeks and teaches essential skills for cafe management, including coffee preparation theory, coffee machine maintenance, and practical training in various beverages. Participants are also supported in obtaining a Level 2 Barista Certificate.
The subsequent Rural Life Skills Practice covers woodworking, electricity, and welding, allowing participants to directly experience skills necessary for rural settlement, such as woodworking theory and practice, on-site visits for electrical safety, and basic electric welding.
In the Agricultural Machinery Safety and Basic Practice course, participants learn both theory and practical skills for handling various agricultural machines such as brush cutters, walking tractors, tractors, and excavators, with a focus on mastering safety guidelines through hands-on experience.
Finally, the AI Rural Marketing course offers practical training in writing content using AI, creating images, developing SNS promotional strategies, and agricultural product brand storytelling, equipping participants with marketing know-how for the digital age.
County Governor Choi Youngil stated, "I hope that these hands-on training programs, which can be applied directly in the field, will provide practical help to those returning to farming and rural areas."
