This report meeting was organized to review the progress of joint research projects in the fields of carbon neutrality and finance, and to identify legislative tasks that residents can tangibly experience.

The two provinces have been conducting joint research to discover special cases since May of this year, following the signing of the "Gangwon-Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Provinces Win-Win Cooperation Agreement" in July last year. At this report meeting, the research teams presented the progress of each project, shared policy experiences and case studies from both provinces, and explored strategies for institutionalization.

Gwak Ilgyu, Director of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, stated, "This report meeting is an important process in which Gangwon and Jeonbuk are jointly creating a new model for local autonomy and decentralization. Based on the research achievements accumulated by both provinces, we will identify customized special cases and work to have them reflected in special laws through consultations with the National Assembly and central government ministries."
