Cube Entertainment (hereafter "Cube Entertainment") group (G)I-DLE member Yuqi has taken center stage in global media and music charts.

According to Cube Entertainment on September 19, Yuqi's first single "Motivation," released on September 16, has been receiving intense attention from major overseas media outlets and music charts.

Forbes, the American business magazine, recently stated, "Yuqi is showing a more confident attitude than ever," adding, "The title track 'M.O.' is inspired by 1990s boom bap hip-hop and captures Yuqi's confidence, autonomy, and fearless nature."

British music magazine Clash commented, "The question, 'What is your Motivation?' led Yuqi on a journey of countless thoughts and ideas," and continued, "Through this project, Yuqi revealed her strength and confidence, showcasing a new side of herself. With confident and honest lyrics, she demonstrated her abilities as a singer-songwriter."

Additionally, Italian magazine Panorama wrote, "Yuqi has always pursued authenticity, and this solo activity is both the culmination and an inevitable step in her consistently impressive journey." The article highlighted Yuqi's value as a creator through her self-composed tracks, stating, "Yuqi is not just a vocalist but a protagonist who forges her own career. The global interest in Yuqi's first single "Motivation" is also evident in the numbers. Immediately after its release, "Motivation" simultaneously topped the daily digital album bestseller charts on China's largest music platforms, QQ Music and Kugou Music, and earned Gold certification on QQ Music. The title track "M.O." reached number one on the real-time chart of Korean music site Bugs, and its music video ranked first on YouTube's "Most Viewed Videos in 24 Hours."

Meanwhile, the "YUQI 1st Single [Motivation] POP-UP" event to celebrate the release of Yuqi's "Motivation" will sequentially open in seven cities across Asia starting September 19.
