Recruitment Consultations, On-Site Interviews, and Special Lectures Held
Youth are flocking in, and companies are responding. The 'Excellent Companies Recruitment Fair' organized by Nonsan City, Chungnam Province, has become a new breakthrough for local job creation and population inflow.
On September 18, the city announced that it had held the 'Excellent Companies Recruitment Fair' at the National Sports Center's indoor gymnasium, connecting outstanding local companies with job seekers.
According to the city, this event was organized with the goal of creating local jobs and attracting young people to the area.
Twelve local companies seeking talent in various fields such as production, quality control, and office work participated in the recruitment fair. Around 200 job seekers, including young people, women returning to the workforce, and middle-aged individuals, attended the event. Recruitment consultations and interviews were held, providing practical opportunities for job seekers from diverse backgrounds.
In particular, at the 'Excellent Companies Talk Concert,' HR managers from five companies took the stage to introduce their companies' visions and recruitment procedures, actively communicating with job seekers.
Kim Suhyeon, an interview consultant, then gave a special lecture on "How to Make a Good First Impression on Interviewers," sharing practical strategies and know-how that could be immediately applied.
Mayor Baek Seonghyeon stated, "It is the role of the administration to create a virtuous cycle where companies grow, citizens gain employment, and Nonsan develops," adding, "We will create an environment where young people and citizens do not lose out by living in Nonsan through quality jobs."
Meanwhile, the city plans to further expand connections between companies and job seekers based on this fair, operate on-site company visit programs, and accelerate the attraction of promising companies linked to the defense industry, thereby strengthening the foundation for regional growth.
