On Friday, September 19, the weather across the country is expected to be mostly cloudy, with rain forecast in various areas.
Rain is expected to begin in the Seoul metropolitan area, western Gangwon, Chungcheong region, and Jeolla region in the afternoon, while eastern Gangwon and the Gyeongsang region will see rain starting at night. From September 19 to 20, expected rainfall amounts are 20 to 60 millimeters in southern Gyeonggi, 10 to 40 millimeters in Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and the five West Sea islands, 20 to 60 millimeters in southern and eastern Gangwon, and 10 to 40 millimeters in central and northern western Gangwon.
Additionally, Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, and North Chungcheong are expected to receive 20 to 60 millimeters of rain; Daegu and North Gyeongsang, 20 to 60 millimeters; and Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang, 10 to 40 millimeters. In areas where it rains, there may also be gusty winds, thunder, and lightning, so extra caution should be taken regarding facility management and safety accidents.
Morning lows are forecast to range between 14 and 22 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to remain "good" across all regions.
Wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
