This event was hosted by Gangwon Province and organized by Gangwon Domin Ilbo. It marks the first official event to signal the full-scale launch of the "3+3 Biohealth Cluster," which is being established around Chuncheon, Wonju, and Gangneung. Through this conference, the province aims to share its vision and strategies for becoming a hub of the digital healthcare industry and to strengthen exchanges between industry experts and companies.

Additionally, the conference was held in conjunction with the opening of the 21st Gangwon Medical Equipment Show (GMES) on the same day. This is expected to reaffirm Wonju's status as the core of South Korea's digital health industry and as a center for medical devices and biohealth.

The conference consisted of two parts: an opening ceremony and the main conference. The opening ceremony was attended by Governor Kim Jin-tae, Gangwon Domin Ilbo President Kyung Min-hyun, Provincial Assembly Vice Chair Park Yun-mi, Wonju Mayor Won Kang-su, and over 100 representatives from institutions and companies related to the digital health industry.

In the second part, Kim Jin-hyung, Professor Emeritus at KAIST, delivered a keynote speech on the "Global and Domestic Digital Health Industry Status," while Gi Jae-hong, Head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Yonsei University Mirae Campus, presented development directions for Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.

Next, Han Ki-sung, Head of Planning Team 1 at the Wonju Medical Device Industry Promotion Foundation, introduced the current status of Gangwon's digital health industry and corporate support programs. Kim Won-jin, CEO of Team Elysium, presented a case study of an outstanding company.

Governor Kim Jin-tae stated, "Chuncheon and Hongcheon have been designated as specialized zones for the red bio industry, Wonju has focused on digital health, and Gangneung has been preparing as a candidate site for a national industrial complex based on natural bio for the past three years. Going forward, we plan to integrate these areas and develop them into a single cluster."
