Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) and Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters (Chief Kim Joil) signed a 'Business Agreement to Promote Reinforcement of Fire Safety Facilities in Aging Public Rental Apartments' on September 18, 2025.

This agreement was established to protect the lives of residents and enhance the safety of housing in aging public rental apartments.
The two organizations will form a consultative body and jointly promote a variety of projects related to strengthening fire safety facilities.
Busan Urban Corporation will be responsible for reinforcing fire safety facilities in rental apartments, including the installation of simplified sprinkler systems and the replacement of smoke detectors. Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters will provide fire safety consulting and support for residential fire safety equipment, thereby operating a collaborative system.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Urban Corporation, emphasized, "This agreement will serve as a strong foundation for protecting the safety of our residents," and added, "We will closely cooperate with Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters to create a safe residential environment where residents can feel secure."
Based on this agreement, the two organizations plan to continuously work to prevent fires and improve the level of safety management in aging rental apartments.
