This event was held in conjunction with the "International Hospital & Health Tech Fair (KHF 2025)" and served as a platform to present Uijeongbu City's investment strategies and future vision both domestically and internationally.

On this day, Park Chunsu, Director of Economic and Employment Affairs, announced key development strategies for returned U.S. military sites, including the digital healthcare R&D hub at Camp Jackson, the advanced bio-medical complex at Camp Kyle, and the AI and digital content convergence complex at Camp Red Cloud (CRC). He also outlined step-by-step implementation plans for transforming Uijeongbu City into a hub for healthcare and future industries.

More than 100 representatives from domestic and international companies, associations, and investment institutions attended the briefing, and active discussions on investment and collaboration took place at the consultation booths. Companies showed great interest in Uijeongbu City's investment environment and incentives, and subsequent requests for follow-up meetings laid the groundwork for practical investment cooperation in the future.

In particular, the recent statement by the President regarding a "forward-looking national review for the development of northern Gyeonggi Province" further heightened companies' expectations. The combination of national-level support and private sector interest has proven that Uijeongbu's leap forward is no longer just a possibility, but an imminent reality.

Mayor Kim Donggeun stated, "We will establish a foundation that companies can trust and invest in, and will accelerate the designation of a free economic zone and regulatory innovation," adding, "We will develop Uijeongbu City into a global innovation city that attracts companies and captures the world's attention."
