On September 19, EBC Financial Group, a global financial company, announced that it has entered into an official partnership with the world-renowned football club FC Barcelona.
The partnership will last for three and a half years and covers foreign exchange, trading, brokerage (including contract for difference transactions), and consulting services. Through this agreement, EBC aims to further strengthen its leadership in the financial industry, while FC Barcelona establishes a new foundation for collaboration in the global market.

As the first symbolic event of this partnership, FC Barcelona visited Korea in July as part of its Asian tour and played a friendly match. Global stars such as Yamal, Lewandowski, and Pedri took part, receiving enthusiastic cheers from local fans. During the match, advertisements for EBC Financial Group were displayed on the stadium’s electronic boards, highlighting the significance of the partnership.
Samuel Hertz, Head of Asia-Pacific Operations at EBC Financial Group, stated, "It is meaningful to have successfully held our first match with Barcelona in Korea," adding, "We will infuse EBC’s DNA with Barcelona’s teamwork and passion to create a new legend in the financial sector."
