AI Utilization Technology and Practical Business Integration Education Model
Gyeongnam College of Information and Technology, known as "Busan's leading community college," will establish a new "AI Entrepreneurship Department" starting from the 2026 academic year. This department aims to nurture AI business professionals equipped with both employment and entrepreneurial skills through artificial intelligence (AI).
The strategy is to strengthen students' capabilities by providing dual-track education focused on both employment and entrepreneurship, cultivating their AI utilization skills and planning abilities in response to an era where AI is rapidly being applied across all fields.
In particular, the curriculum is designed to enable each student to develop their own business model by offering education on the latest AI toolkits such as ChatGPT, Notion, and Google AI, as well as business strategy development using AI for market analysis, customer management, marketing, and branding. The department will be operated in line with its catchphrase, "Get a job and start a business with AI!"
This department will foster planners and marketers with the skills to prepare for both employment and entrepreneurship through practical, non-coding classes utilizing the latest IT training facilities established by Gyeongnam College of Information and Technology.
An Sungwoo, head of the AI Entrepreneurship Department, said, "In an era where AI is a key competitive edge, we have prepared a curriculum that enables students to quickly acquire AI utilization skills, become AI professionals sought after by many companies, and also develop the planning skills needed to perfectly implement their own business models and prepare for entrepreneurship."
The AI Entrepreneurship Department will begin operating in the 2026 academic year and is currently accepting applications for the first round of rolling admissions until September 30.
