Daejeon Urban Corporation Holds "Bread Sharing Volunteer Activity" for Children in Need of Care

25 Employees Participate, Bake and Deliver 200 Loaves of Bread

Daejeon Urban Corporation carried out a "Bread Sharing Volunteer Activity" for children in need of care.

On September 12, the corporation held the "Sharing Love Through Bread Volunteer Activity" at the Daejeon-Sejong branch of the Korean Red Cross. Twenty-five employees participated in the event, making and carefully packaging 200 loaves of bread, which were then delivered to the Daejeon Metropolitan Child Welfare Association.

This volunteer activity aimed to deliver warmth and compassion to children in the local community who require care. Employees who participated worked together to knead dough and package the bread, naturally communicating and building teamwork in the process.

Jung Kookyoung, President of Daejeon Urban Corporation, stated, "This volunteer activity was especially meaningful as it allowed us to share warmth with children," adding, "We will continue to pursue social contribution activities that grow alongside local children."

Meanwhile, the corporation has been continuously engaged in sharing activities for local children, including supporting the local temporary child care facility "Saeron" and donating to the Green Umbrella Sharing Marathon.
