Jangseong County in Jeonnam announced on the 17th that it held an opening ceremony for the "Agricultural Products Processing Specialized Technical Training."
The "Agricultural Products Processing Specialized Technical Training," held at the Farmers' Hall on the 16th, is an educational program designed to equip local farmers in Jangseong with specialized skills in agricultural product processing. It also provides essential information on licensing and marketing strategies for farmers who wish to start a business in related fields.
The program will be held a total of 10 times until November 25, featuring a systematic curriculum and a team of instructors composed of experts in each field. The training will focus on practical, hands-on lectures utilizing the facilities of the Agricultural Products Processing Support Center to maximize educational effectiveness. On the first day, at the opening ceremony, Choi Haeseong, the head of Ogok Fermentation Village, shared his journey from starting a business to achieving success with the participating farmers.
Kim Hanjong, the governor of Jangseong County, stated, "The agricultural product processing industry will become a key driver of future growth for Jangseong County," and added, "We will spare no effort in supporting our farmers so that they can confidently take on new business ventures."
