Korea Zinc stated, "Despite challenging circumstances, there was a consensus that the employees' hard work was instrumental in achieving the company's highest-ever sales in the first half of the year. As a result, we reached a final agreement to increase the base salary by 118,000 won (including promotions), and to provide a total of 11 million won in performance bonuses and labor-management harmony incentives, including company stock, in recognition of the record results in the first half." In addition, depending on annual performance, up to an additional 400% performance bonus will be paid.

The labor and management at Korea Zinc also agreed to expand the scope of ordinary wages and to extend the retirement age by one year from 60. Furthermore, they decided to broaden eligibility for benefits such as children's tuition support, medical expenses, and housing loans, thereby promoting educational, residential, and lifestyle stability for employees and their families.

A Korea Zinc representative said, "The dedication and efforts of all employees, combined with stable labor-management relations, have enabled Korea Zinc to overcome crises and reach new heights. Moving forward, labor and management will continue to work together to solidify our position as a safer and more eco-friendly workplace, while leading the global supply chain for non-ferrous metals and strategic, critical minerals."
