SM Entertainment announced on September 16 that the group RISE has set the record for the fastest entry into the Tokyo Dome among K-pop boy groups.
From September 13 to 15, RISE held their first world tour concerts at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, selling out all seats and attracting over 33,000 fans. At the end of the first day's performance, they announced that a "Special Edition" concert would be held at the Tokyo Dome from February 21 to 23 next year.
RISE, who debuted in September 2023, will stand on the Tokyo Dome stage with their own solo concert in just about 2 years and 5 months. This is the fastest pace among all K-pop boy groups.
RISE received a Gold certification in the streaming category for their debut song "Get A Guitar." According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, this is the first time for a K-pop boy group that debuted after 2023. Their Japanese single "Lucky" earned Platinum certification in the Gold Disc category based on cumulative shipments, while their first full-length album "Odyssey" received Gold certification.
RISE will continue their world tour at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 20 and 21.
