Minimizing Gaps in Civil Complaint Calls
and Protecting Staff Personal Information
Seocho District in Seoul (District Mayor Seongsoo Jeon) announced on September 16 that it will officially launch the 'Smart Administrative Call' service, which improves the features of the staff administrative phone app to ensure faster and more efficient responses to civil complaints.

The Seocho Administrative Phone App is a convenience application that allows district staff to access the organizational chart and contact information via mobile devices even when outside the office. The district has enhanced its features to reduce gaps in responding to civil complaints and to better protect staff personal information, introducing the new 'Smart Administrative Call.' Notably, for the first time in the country, the district has implemented call forwarding and mobile phone number protection functions within its own app, without relying on private services.
The new version includes a dedicated 'Call' menu, protection of staff mobile phone numbers, call forwarding settings, and a feature to check messenger call history. With these updates, staff can safely use work calls without exposing their personal mobile numbers. Additionally, even when out of the office for business trips or lunch breaks, staff can receive civil complaint calls through call forwarding, and can check outgoing, incoming, and missed call logs within the app.
The district expects that this service will minimize work interruptions, allowing staff to handle their work continuously regardless of location, while also reducing inconvenience for residents caused by the absence of the person in charge.
Seongsoo Jeon, Seocho District Mayor, stated, "Smart Administrative Call makes responding to civil complaint calls safer and more convenient, increasing resident satisfaction while thoroughly protecting staff personal information. We will continue to expand our mobile-based smart office environment to further enhance both staff satisfaction and the quality of administrative services."
