On September 14 (local time), the U.S. online media outlet Blavity reported, "President Trump appeared with one side of his face drooping, fueling concerns about his health on social networking services (SNS)."

President Trump attended the 24th anniversary memorial ceremony of the September 11 attacks held at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, on September 11. Broadcast footage from the event shows President Trump seated next to his wife Melania, with the right corner of his mouth excessively drooping.

"Face appears very droopy and confused" ... Some claim, "It is a stroke"

Ben Meiselas, host of the MediaStache podcast, commented, "President Trump’s face was very droopy and he looked confused during the Pentagon 9/11 memorial ceremony," adding, "He seemed unaware of where he was."

The outlet noted, "Trump, who is currently 79 years old, would become the oldest president in U.S. history (82) if he completes a second term in 2029." While some attribute his recent health issues to his advanced age, SNS users are raising the possibility of a stroke, citing the drooping on the right side of his face.

Comedian and writer Jeremy Kaplowitz posted a photo of President Trump’s twisted mouth on X (formerly Twitter) on September 12, stating, "President Trump looks 100% like he had a stroke."

Adam Cochran, a professor and investigative journalist, also commented, "When will they acknowledge the president’s stroke? He is honoring the 9/11 victims while unable to control the right side of his face, showing clear signs of deteriorating health," and shared footage from the event.

Another SNS user compared a video of Trump condemning the shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk to photos from the event, stating, "The Trump in the video and the Trump today are completely different. Did he disappear for seven days because of a stroke? Is that why they used artificial intelligence (AI)?" The user continued, "There were claims that the video of Trump uploaded yesterday looked AI-generated, but after seeing today’s event photos, there are clear signs of a stroke. Are they covering it up with AI videos?"

However, the White House has not released an official statement regarding these health concerns.

Swollen ankles, bruised hands ... White House: "President Trump diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency"

This is not the first time concerns have been raised about President Trump's health based on his appearance. In July, photos showed President Trump with swollen ankles and bruises on his hands. As speculation about his health intensified, the White House released the results of President Trump’s comprehensive medical examination in an effort to address the concerns.

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt stated during a regular briefing on July 17 that President Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, emphasizing, "Chronic venous insufficiency is a condition commonly seen in people over the age of 70, and the president is maintaining excellent health." This condition occurs when the valves in the veins of the legs do not function properly, causing blood to pool in the legs and leading to symptoms such as swelling in the legs and ankles.

Regarding the bruises on President Trump’s hands, spokesperson Leavitt explained, "They are due to minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshakes and the use of aspirin as part of standard therapy to prevent cardiovascular disease."
