Fine Dust Levels Expected to Remain 'Good' to 'Moderate'
On Tuesday, the 16th, most regions nationwide are expected to be mostly cloudy with scattered showers.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected precipitation is 5 to 60 millimeters in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi; 5 to 40 millimeters in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam; and 5 to 40 millimeters in Yeongdong of Gangwon, central and southern Chungbuk, Jeonbuk, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island.
The daytime high temperatures are forecast to range from 27 to 33 degrees Celsius. As of 5 a.m., the current temperatures are 22.2 degrees in Seoul, 23.8 degrees in Incheon, 21.4 degrees in Suwon, 20.2 degrees in Chuncheon, 25.3 degrees in Gangneung, 24.5 degrees in Cheongju, 23.8 degrees in Daejeon, 24.6 degrees in Jeonju, 23.3 degrees in Gwangju, 25.9 degrees in Jeju, 23.0 degrees in Daegu, 25.6 degrees in Busan, 22.6 degrees in Ulsan, and 23.8 degrees in Changwon.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of precipitation.
Wave heights in the seas will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East and South Seas near the coast, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea near the coast. In offshore areas within about 200 kilometers from the coastline, wave heights will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea.
