In the men's golf weekly world ranking announced on September 14 (local time), Kim earned 2.06 points and climbed six spots from 65th place last week. He accumulated points by tying for 5th place at the DP World Tour BMW PGA Championship (total prize money of 9 million dollars), which concluded that day at Wentworth Golf Club (par 72) in Surrey, near London, United Kingdom.
