"Dinkum" Digital Download Package Now Available for Pre-Order
Krafton announced on September 15 that it will launch the survival life simulation game "Dinkum" for Nintendo Switch on November 6.
The release was unveiled worldwide through Nintendo's online showcase "Nintendo Direct," held on September 12.
Currently, the digital download package for "Dinkum" is available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop, and a demo version can also be accessed. The demo will be available until 8:59 a.m. on the release date.
Pre-order customers will receive a "Battlegrounds Costume Set," which can be worn in-game in Dinkum, as a bonus. A 10% discount is also being offered. A physical Nintendo Switch package is also planned, with pre-orders starting on September 16.
"Dinkum" was developed by James Bendon, a solo developer from Australia. The game features unique flora and fauna inspired by Australia, and players pioneer an island environment. It offers a variety of content, including exploration, crafting, animal husbandry, farming, gathering, and hunting.
The game was first released in Steam Early Access in July 2022 and transitioned to its official version in April this year. As of last month, cumulative sales have surpassed 1.4 million copies.
