To Be Sequentially Distributed
to 7,720 Vulnerable Households
BNK Gyeongnam Bank, which has received the highest rating for six consecutive years in the "Financial Institution Regional Reinvestment Evaluation" in the Gyeongnam region, is carrying out acts of love and sharing to support vulnerable groups in the community.
On September 15, ahead of Chuseok, the major national holiday, BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated traditional market gift certificates worth 381 million KRW to Gyeongsangnam-do.
Kim Taehan, President of BNK Gyeongnam Bank, presented a certificate of donation for the traditional market gift certificates to Kang Gicheol, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, who visited the bank's headquarters.
The traditional market gift certificates will be distributed sequentially to 7,720 vulnerable households recommended by cities and counties in Gyeongsangnam-do through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank is promoting the "2025 Chuseok Love Sharing Event," which provides traditional market gift certificates to vulnerable groups recommended by cities and counties in Gyeongsangnam-do and Ulsan Metropolitan City before Chuseok. (However, in Miryang, support will be provided in the form of rice upon request.)
President Kim Taehan stated, "We expect that the donated traditional market gift certificates will both support vulnerable groups in the region and revitalize traditional markets, achieving a win-win effect. In the '2025 Financial Institution Regional Reinvestment Evaluation' announced last month, BNK Gyeongnam Bank once again received the highest grade in the Gyeongnam region for the sixth consecutive year, proving itself as a leading financial institution in the area. In addition to supporting vulnerable groups, we will continue to pursue mutual growth with Gyeongsangnam-do by providing financial support to local small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners."
Meanwhile, in July, BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated 220 million KRW in social contribution funds to Gyeongsangnam-do and Ulsan Metropolitan City to help vulnerable groups spend the summer in good health.
Fans purchased with the donation were delivered to 7,300 low-income vulnerable households recommended by 18 cities and counties in Gyeongsangnam-do.
