For Soon-to-be Graduates of Chungnam Art Universities
Up to 10 Million Won in Support Per Team
The Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation is launching a new support program for young artists who are about to graduate from art universities in Chungnam.
On September 15, the foundation announced that it would be accepting applications for the "2025 Chungnam Region Art University Art Rookie Discovery Project" until the 25th.
This project is based on the "Chungnam Province Youth Policy Basic Plan (2024-2028)" and the "Ordinance on the Promotion and Support of Young Artists." It aims to help soon-to-be graduates of local art universities settle in the region and continue their creative activities in a stable manner.
Eligible applicants are students graduating in August 2025 or expected to graduate in February 2026 from art universities located in Chungnam. The program is open to creative projects by teams of at least four members.
More than four teams will be selected, and each team can receive up to 10 million won in project funding. The program covers a variety of genres, including visual and performing arts, collaborative creative projects, and digital convergence projects.
Beyond simply providing funding for creative work, the foundation will also offer: ▲ consulting for cultural and artistic employment and entrepreneurship ▲ mentoring by planning experts ▲ networking workshops ▲ performance-sharing events ▲ and opportunities to participate in foundation-linked programs.
Lee Ji-won, Director of the Arts Promotion Division, stated, "This project marks the starting point of the 'R2R (ART-Rookie to ROOT) in Chungnam' youth artist development system. We will support soon-to-be graduates of art universities so they can create new artistic trends in Chungnam."
Applications can be submitted through the National Culture and Arts Support System (NCAS), and the final results will be announced on October 10.
