The Daejeon Chungnam Headquarters of Korea Expressway Corporation is holding a "certification event" for customers visiting the Chungnam region using expressway Hi-Pass lanes.
In celebration of the 2025-2026 Chungnam Visit Years and to promote local tourism, the Daejeon Chungnam Headquarters will host the "Hi-Pass Chungnam Tourism Certification Event" from September 15 to October 12.
The event covers 32 tollgates, including Mokcheon, Cheonan, Bukcheonan, Seocheonan in Cheonan; Asan, Asanhyeonchungsa in Asan; Hongseong in Hongseong County; Haemi and Seosan in Seosan; Dangjin, Songak, and Myeoncheon in Dangjin; Godeok, Yesan Sudeoksa, and Shinyang in Yesan County; Yugu, Magoksa, Gongju, and Seogongju in Gongju; Dongseocheon, Seocheon, and Chunjangdae in Seocheon County; Seobu Buyeo and Buyeo in Buyeo County; Chilgapsan in Cheongyang County; Geumsan and Chubu in Geumsan County; Nonsan in Nonsan; Gyeryong in Gyeryong; and Muchangpo, Daecheon, and Gwangcheon in Boryeong.
To participate, users must capture a screenshot of their Hi-Pass card receipt or usage details showing exit through one of the listed tollgates during the event period, using either the Expressway Toll+ app or the Expressway Toll website, and submit it via a Naver Form.
Among the participants, 100 winners will be selected by lottery to receive a CU convenience store mobile gift certificate worth 10,000 won each. Winners will be notified individually by text message in the fourth week of October.
Lee Hyeok, Head of the Daejeon Chungnam Headquarters of Korea Expressway Corporation, stated, "We expect this event to revitalize regional tourism via the expressway," adding, "We will continue to discover and promote various collaborative projects so that expressways can play a pivotal role in balanced regional development."
