Contest Open for One Month Starting September 15
Attractive Prizes and Benefits Await
Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and the Gangwon Tourism Foundation are hosting a "Merchandise Contest" to commemorate the "2025-2026 Gangwon Visit Year" and to discover tourism souvenirs that capture the diverse charms of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. The contest will run for one month, from September 15 to October 17. Any business entity with Korean nationality, located in Korea, and registered as a business can participate.
The contest is divided into two categories: the General Category and the Regional Collection Category. The General Category seeks creative souvenirs that reflect the characteristics of the Gangwon region and current tourism trends, while the Regional Collection Category is for collectible souvenirs that embody the unique features of each of the 18 cities and counties in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.
Entries will be evaluated based on symbolism, marketability, and design, with a total of seven teams selected for the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Merit Award. The winning teams will receive a total prize of 6 million won and the opportunity for their products to be used as official souvenirs for the Gangwon Visit Year.
