Jeong Cheongrae, Floor Leader Kim Byungki, and senior officials from the party, government, and presidential office are scheduled to hold a dinner meeting at the Seoul Prime Minister's official residence on this day. With the recent public conflict between the party's two top leaders over the handling of the three major special prosecutor bills, this meeting is expected to reaffirm the "one team" stance between the party and government and serve as an opportunity to mend divisions.
Additionally, on the same day, Jeong Cheongrae posted photos from the "70th Anniversary Grand Festival of the Gwangju and Jeonnam Residents' Association" on social media. Recalling his visits to various places in Gwangju and Jeonnam during the last presidential election, he wrote, "People in Honam told me that I must eradicate insurrection and restore the Republic of Korea to its rightful place."
