Starting September 15, LG Uplus will operate an ixi-O exhibition booth at both the "Korea-Asia Forensic Science and Legal Medicine Assembly" in Incheon and the "47th Global Privacy Assembly (GPA)" in Seoul. Visitors to the booth will be able to experience firsthand the voice phishing detection technology, "Anti-Deep Voice" which identifies manipulated voices using AI, and "Anti-Deepfake" which detects AI-generated videos.

The Korea-Asia Forensic Science and Legal Medicine Assembly, in which LG Uplus is participating, is a gathering of forensic science and legal medicine organizations from across Asia. This year’s event is being held in Korea to mark the 70th anniversary of the National Forensic Service. In addition to the ixi-O exhibition booth, LG Uplus will also give a presentation on its AI-based voice phishing detection technology.

From September 15 to 19, LG Uplus will also operate an ixi-O booth at GPA 2025, held in Seoul. GPA 2025, an international conference on personal information, is hosted by the Personal Information Protection Commission. This is the first time the event is being held in Korea, and it is expected to attract around 1,000 participants, including personal information supervisory authorities, academics, industry experts, legal professionals, and international organization representatives from 89 countries, including the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Through the ixi-O experience booth, LG Uplus plans to promote its on-device AI-based voice phishing detection technology.

Choi Yunho, Executive Vice President and Head of the AI Agent Promotion Group at LG Uplus, stated, "Voice phishing is a social issue at the intersection of personal information protection and crime prevention. By introducing ixi-O in discussions with global experts, we aim to showcase Korea's advanced AI security capabilities and contribute to creating a safer digital environment."
