Fostering Talent in the Food Service Industry
Mutual Cooperation for Community Contribution
The Office of External Cooperation at Dong-Eui University (Director Kim Chiyong) signed a business agreement with Lascos Bansang (CEO Kim Kyungtae), a food service company, on September 11 at Bansang Korean Table in Gwangalli. The agreement aims to foster talent and promote the development of the food service industry.
The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Chiyong, Director of External Cooperation at Dong-Eui University, Lee Seongpo, Professor of Food Service Management, Kim Woojin, Chairman of Lascos Bansang, CEO Kim Kyungtae, and other officials.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate on several initiatives: conducting joint research and projects to revitalize the local food service industry; operating educational programs and field training to cultivate practical talent; and establishing a collaborative system to promote exchanges in various fields.
Kim Chiyong, Director of External Cooperation at Dong-Eui University, stated, "We look forward to collaborating in a variety of areas, not only in talent development through the Department of Food Service Management, but also in operating admissions counseling cafes and career and employment programs run by Dong-Eui University."
Kim Kyungtae, CEO of Lascos Bansang and an alumnus of the Department of Accounting at Dong-Eui University, said, "Lascos Bansang is a leading food culture venue in Gwangalli, established over 30 years ago. Through our partnership with Dong-Eui University, we aim to contribute to the local community and become a space that grows together with the region."
Lascos Bansang is a food service company that operates a Korean table restaurant, a premium Korean beef grill, as well as Lascos Wedding and Buffet at Gwangalli Beach.
