Gangneung City Launches "Temporary Management Support Fund" for SMEs and Small Business Owners Affected by Drought

Applications Available at the Book Culture Center on the Second Floor of City Hall Starting September 12

Gangneung City in Gangwon Province, in cooperation with the Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), will begin full-scale implementation of the "Temporary Management Support Fund" starting from September 12.

To enhance convenience for residents, the city has established and is operating a One-Stop Support Center on the second floor of City Hall within the Book Culture Center. From September 12 until the end of the disaster period, the center will provide integrated support, from consultation to application form preparation and submission, all in one place.

This support has become possible as the Gangneung area, which has recently suffered from drought damage, was included among the eligible regions.

The eligible recipients are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have experienced a temporary management crisis due to drought damage and have seen a decrease of 10% or more in either sales or operating profit.

Applicants must bring their mobile phone registered in their name, an ID card, and a business registration certificate to apply in person at the One-Stop Support Center. Alternatively, they can apply online through the SEMAS policy fund website (ols.semas.or.kr).
