Soonchunhyang University GTEP Supports Overseas Market Expansion for Chungnam Companies at Medical Fair Thailand

Soonchunhyang University announced on the 12th that it participated in the international medical device exhibition "Medical Fair Thailand 2025" held in Bangkok, Thailand, together with its partner companies.

At this exhibition, Soonchunhyang University provided students with hands-on experience in overseas trade and offered companies opportunities to explore global markets.

Medical Fair Thailand was held from the 10th to the 12th and is a specialized international medical device exhibition that attracted a large number of major buyers from Southeast Asia.

The Soonchunhyang University Global Trade Expert Program (GTEP) team operated a joint booth with six companies: Quantum Hunex Korea, Lameditech, Science Medic, Fine BM, A-One Medical Industry, and Humetron.

Twelve students directly engaged in meetings with overseas buyers, product promotion, and market research, providing practical marketing support.

Participating companies commented, "The students' understanding of the products and their preparation were outstanding, which greatly contributed to the exhibition activities."

Soonchunhyang University is the only university in the Chungnam region to have been selected for 16 consecutive years since 2009 for the "Regional Specialized Youth Trade Expert Training Program," organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association.

From 2024 to 2026, the university has been designated as a leading institution for service exports (healthcare and medical), nurturing the next generation of trade experts through practical trade education linked with industry, government, and academia, participation in overseas exhibitions, and export support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Additionally, this year, the university has dispatched student teams to major exhibitions such as CMEF in Shanghai, K-MED Expo in Hanoi, and ADLM in Chicago, continuing to support the overseas expansion and joint growth of local companies.
