NongHyup Financial Invites White-Hat Hacker to Enhance Information Security

2025 Information Security and Protection Forum Held

NongHyup Financial Holdings announced that it held the "2025 NongHyup Financial Information Security and Protection Forum" on the 11th at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, with around 100 employees responsible for group digital, IT, and information security in attendance.

The forum was organized to enhance the information protection and security insights of group employees, based on an understanding of the latest cyber threat trends.

Park Sejun, CEO of Theori, a company known as one of the world's top white-hat hacker groups, was invited as a keynote speaker. Theori is a security specialist firm that has won the DEFCON CTF hacking defense competition four consecutive times and actively provides penetration testing consulting and security technology advisory services to global companies.

The lecture covered specific examples of changes in the cyber threat paradigm, the importance of security for financial institutions, and ways to enhance information protection capabilities.
