The bag-type "Kkumdori Ramen," launched in June, has continued its success by reaching cumulative sales of 800,000 units in just three months. Now, starting from the 12th, "Kkumdori Cup Ramen" has officially gone on sale.

On the 12th, the Daejeon city government held a launch event for "Kkumdori Cup Ramen" at the second Kkumdori House location in Expo Science Park, Yuseong-gu.

"Kkumdori Cup Ramen" features a modern package design inspired by the local mascot Kkumdori and offers a large 110g serving with beef flavor. It is an offline limited edition available exclusively in Daejeon, sold at a fixed price of 1,900 won regardless of distribution channel, including convenience stores and supermarkets.

The city expects this product to establish itself as a "local snack culture item that combines urban identity and fun."

The bag-type "Kkumdori Ramen," launched in June, attracted attention as a new tourism product for Daejeon by achieving cumulative sales of 800,000 units in three months. The follow-up cup ramen, released five days later, is expected to have a significant effect by linking with city tours, festivals, and expos, thanks to its convenience and portability.

The launch event, held from the 12th to the 14th for three days, features on-site tasting sessions, photo zones, and game experiences with prize events. On the first day, YouTuber "Massangmu," an ambassador for Daejeon, participated in person, filming tasting content and conducting on-site interviews, further energizing the atmosphere.

Massangmu highlighted "the unique appeal of locally exclusive products and their synergy with Daejeon tourism," introducing the value of convenient meals that capture the essence of Daejeon.

Jangwoo Lee, Mayor of Daejeon, emphasized, "A local mascot product created together with citizens is revitalizing the Daejeon economy and enhancing the city's image as a tourist destination. We will strengthen our city brand competitiveness by expanding the range and success of various Kkumdori merchandise."
