The team was highly praised for pioneering new distribution channels for local agricultural products through their initiative, "Solving Farmers' Distribution Problems! The U-Gok Watermelon Online Distribution Challenge."

The Excellence Award went to the Integrated Collection Team of the Finance Division (Kim Hyeongjin, Park Mijeong). The Encouragement Award was given to the Transportation Administration Team of the Regional Economy Office (Lee Unghee, Kim Seyoung), the Population Policy Office (Moon Sujeong), the Lifelong Education Team of the Family Happiness Division (Moon Janghyeok, Woo Suhee), the Tourism Promotion Division (Lim Jinil, Lee Youngjin, Park Hyunsook, Lee Seul), the Health Administration Division (Bae Jeongim), and the Sports Team of the Family Happiness Division (Do Chunghwan and three others).

The winning departments also included the Animal Resources Team of the Livestock Policy Division, the Industrial Economy Team of Seongsan-myeon, and the Geographic Information Team of the Civil Affairs Division.

In the individual category, Moon Sujeong, an officer in the Population Policy Office, was selected as an outstanding public official for her contributions to attracting young people and improving rural settlement conditions. Bae Jeongim, an officer in the Health Administration Division, was recognized for her achievements in creating resident-participatory healthy villages.

The selection process was based on criteria such as public perception, proactiveness and creativity, the importance of the project, and potential for expansion. It involved a practical review, public verification, County Administration Coordination Committee, competition, and review by the Proactive Administration Committee. The final awardees will receive a top-tier performance bonus, reward leave, certificates, cash prizes, and other various incentives.

Governor Lee Namcheol stated, "Proactive administration that communicates in the field is the driving force behind regional development," and added, "We will continue to discover diverse cases of proactive administration based on expertise and realize administration that residents can truly feel."
