Toss Bank Offers Cashback for New Check Card Customers

On September 12, Toss Bank announced that it is holding a "First Payment Cashback Event" for new customers who issue a Toss Bank check card.

This event will run until September 28, and customers who issue a Toss Bank personal check card for the first time in their lives and make their first payment of at least 1,000 won during the event period will receive an immediate cashback benefit of 1,000 won. Customers who have only ever issued a group card in the past are eligible to participate, but those who have previously issued a personal check card are excluded from the event.

The Toss Bank check card offers a "Switch Cashback" service, allowing customers to choose their preferred cashback benefit on a daily basis from four options: offline, online, anywhere, and donation cashback. Notably, the "Offline Cashback" benefit can be selected daily and used at seven categories and 32 brands frequently encountered in daily life, such as convenience stores, large supermarkets, budget coffee brands, instant photo booths, bookstores, and public transportation.

The "Online Cashback" is mainly used for simple payment and delivery services, while the "Anywhere Cashback" provides immediate benefits regardless of brand or location. The "Donation Cashback" allows the cashback to be donated to animal protection activities instead, with the added benefit of a tax deduction, making it a form of consumption that contributes to social value.

A Toss Bank representative said, "We prepared this event so that new customers can experience benefits from the very first moment they use the Toss Bank check card," adding, "We will continue to introduce benefits that can provide more value in customers' daily lives."
