Taejin Kim of Gwangju Western District Council Calls for Improvement in Aerobics Instructors' Working Conditions

Allowance of 40,000 Won... Lowest Among Five Districts

Assemblyman Kim said, "Currently, aerobics instructors in the Western District receive an instructor fee of 40,000 won per session, which is the lowest among the five districts. In comparison, Nam District and Dong District pay 60,000 won per session, a difference of 20,000 won. For programs run by the Western District Health Center, the instructor fee is 80,000 won, meaning that aerobics instructors receive only half that amount."

He added, "There is a need to improve the treatment of aerobics instructors in the Western District who are paid under the current system. In order to ensure that residents receive high-quality sports-for-all services in a stable manner, we must seriously consider what appropriate policies should be implemented."

Meanwhile, last year, 31,647 residents participated in aerobics classes in the Western District, which play a key role in supporting residents' health and sports leisure activities.
