The ordinance bill was proposed to establish systematic and efficient management and operation of the Food Promotion Fund, which was established based on the Food Sanitation Act and other related laws, with the aim of improving residents' nutritional standards and food hygiene. The main contents of the ordinance include updating terminology, reflecting higher-level laws regarding the creation and use of the fund, and expanding the participation of experts in the committee.

Councilor Oh stated, "Food hygiene is directly linked to the health of our residents, so it is important to create a safe food environment by supporting business operators and improving the sanitary environment." He added, "With this ordinance amendment, I hope the foundation will be strengthened so that residents can use food with peace of mind."
