According to the Office of the President, the slogan for this press conference has been set as "100 Days for Recovery, Growth for the Future." Under the themes of "A Better Economy, More Frequent Communication, Greater Integration," the event will be attended by 152 domestic and foreign journalists and is scheduled to last about 90 minutes, starting at 10 a.m.

In his opening remarks, President Lee is expected to highlight the achievements of policies focused on "recovery and growth" over the past 100 days and explain the future direction of his administration. He will then answer questions from journalists regarding the many pressing domestic and international issues.

On external affairs, attention is focused on whether President Lee will address the situation involving the arrest and detention of Korean workers at the Hyundai Motor and LG Energy Solution battery plant construction site in Georgia, United States, as well as potential solutions to the visa issues identified as the cause of this incident. Other major topics include details of the stalled Korea-US tariff negotiations following the summit, demands for "alliance modernization" such as increased defense spending, and security issues. Plans for peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, including the North Korean nuclear issue, may also be discussed during the Q&A session.

Domestically, prosecution reform-a core agenda of the Lee Jaemyung administration-is likely to be a major topic. Attention is on whether President Lee will state his position on abolishing the prosecution's supplementary investigative powers, an issue that remains under discussion even after the recent government reorganization that separated investigation and prosecution. His willingness to cooperate and pursue integration with the opposition, which has strongly resisted these reforms, is also expected to be addressed.

President Lee may also clarify his stance on the criteria for classifying major shareholders subject to capital gains tax on stock transfers, an issue that has been postponed after much deliberation within the ruling party. Given the controversy, it is widely expected that President Lee will personally announce the outcome of his careful consideration on this matter.

Meanwhile, the press conference will proceed by taking essential questions in the fields of ▲livelihood and economy ▲politics, diplomacy, and security ▲society and culture, as well as additional questions selected by business card draw and on-the-spot designation. The key visual for this press conference is "the journalist's pen," which, according to the Office of the President, symbolizes the blending, harmony, and communication of diverse voices in society.
