NH Investment & Securities announced on September 9 that it will host the '2025 N2 Real Estate Academy Overseas Real Estate Insight Tour' for VIP clients from September 16 to 30, spanning three weeks. The Real Estate Academy is an annual event organized by the NH Investment & Securities Tax Center and is now in its third year.
This year’s Real Estate Academy will focus on trends and investment strategies in major overseas real estate markets. The sessions will be held at the company’s headquarters every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. In the first week (September 16), Lee Jiwoong, CEO of the global real estate investment platform BuildBlock, will present on 'Current Status and Outlook by Major Regions in the United States, Real Investment Cases and Strategies,' followed by a lecture from Lee Heejae, a U.S. accountant, on 'Procedures for Acquiring U.S. Real Estate and Key Related Taxes.' In the second week (September 23), Minsoo Cho, CEO of the Tokyo-based real estate firm JOO Real Estate, will speak on 'Current Status and Outlook of the Tokyo Real Estate Market in Japan, and Real Investment Cases,' and Sunwoo Kim, a customs broker at NH NongHyup Bank, will discuss 'Frequently Overlooked Procedures for Reporting Overseas Real Estate Acquisitions and Remittance of Funds.' This will be followed by a presentation from Jeong Bohyun, a real estate research fellow at NH Investment & Securities, on 'Trends and Outlook for the High-End Residential Market in Seoul, Korea.' In the third week (September 30), Jungwon Choi, director at the Singapore-based real estate investment firm SRI, will lecture on 'Trends and Outlook for the Singapore Real Estate Market,' and the final session will feature Seunghyun Lee, a tax accountant at NH Investment & Securities, who will present 'Overseas Real Estate Gift Solutions and Tax-Saving Strategies.'
NH Investment & Securities will offer participants special benefits, including overseas site visits accompanied by experts, online consultations with local professionals, and session-specific booklets. In addition, those who attend all sessions will receive a special commemorative gift.
