Changha Woo, a member of the Andong City Council in North Gyeongsang Province, has been officially recognized for his contributions to the development of local culture and welfare policies.
On September 4, Councilor Woo received the "2025 Best Legislative Award for Cultural Welfare Policy" in the cultural welfare policy category at the "2025 K Global Star Culture and Arts Awards" ceremony, held at the Baekbeom Kim Koo Memorial Hall in Yongsan District, Seoul.

As president of the Andong City Council's Cultural Welfare Research Association, Woo was highly praised for delivering tangible results, including expanding accommodation infrastructure to boost the local tourism industry, establishing protection measures for at-risk youth, and developing policies to address welfare blind spots.
