'Cheongju Centum Prugio Xi,' which is leading the transformation of Sajik-dong into a new city of approximately 14,000 households, will begin accepting non-priority applications (limited to those without home ownership) on September 8.
Applications can be submitted through the Korea Real Estate Board’s Cheongyak Home website on Monday, September 8, with the announcement of successful applicants scheduled for Thursday, September 11, and contracts to be signed on Friday, September 19. This opportunity is drawing attention as the last chance to purchase a home, as not only residents of Cheongju but also members of non-homeowner households nationwide-including Daejeon, Sejong, and the Seoul metropolitan area-are eligible to apply.
'Cheongju Centum Prugio Xi' will be developed at 247-1 Sajik-dong, Seowon-gu, Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, consisting of 22 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with exclusive areas from 59 to 145 square meters, totaling 2,271 units.
As a large-scale complex developed under a consortium of leading major builders with 2,271 units, the project has attracted significant attention for its expansive and high-quality landscaping and community spaces. The landscaped area alone will exceed twice the legal requirement, reaching approximately 38,000 square meters, and will feature a large central plaza, water features, and a circular walking trail, creating a vibrant environment.
In addition to basic facilities such as a fitness center, GX club, and screen golf, the complex will offer a wide range of sports and leisure amenities, including Chungcheongbuk-do’s first indoor golf facility, a multipurpose gymnasium, climbing, squash, Pilates, a library studio, private study rooms, shared offices, a putting green, and a sauna.
The sky lounge, now considered a hallmark of landmark complexes in the region, will further enhance the value of the development. Sky lounges will be located on the 29th floor of A-1BL and the 27th floor of A-2BL, allowing residents to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area, the expansive central park, and the landscaped grounds, providing both scenic vistas and relaxation.
Additional features include a curtain wall design for the building’s exterior, typically found in luxury apartments, as well as various amenities for residents’ convenience such as a dry car wash facility and private storage rooms. A dedicated children’s drop-off and pick-up zone will also be established to ensure a safe environment for students commuting to and from school.
The area is well-served by lifestyle infrastructure, including Cheongju Art Hall, Cheongju Medical Center, the planned Cheongju City Hall, Homeplus, CGV, and the Arts Center. Parks such as Musimcheon, Uncheon Park, and Cheongju Sports Complex are also nearby, offering residents a pleasant environment for leisure activities.
For education, Hanbeol Elementary School and Heungdeok Elementary School are close by, and there is a concentration of elementary, middle, and high schools within a 2-kilometer radius. Cheongju’s main private education district is also easily accessible.
The model home for Cheongju Centum Prugio Xi is located in Sajik-dong, Seowon-gu, Cheongju, and move-in is scheduled for December 2028.
