Mirae Asset Life Insurance Launches 'AI Voice Bot' Customer Guidance Service

Mirae Asset Life Insurance announced on September 8 that it launched a customer guidance service utilizing an artificial intelligence (AI) voice bot starting from September 3.


This service was planned as part of a next-generation system development project aimed at strengthening digital competitiveness. The goal is to provide essential guidance for customer insurance contract management more quickly and accurately.

The AI voice bot delivers notifications regarding premium payment deadlines and policy cancellation (confirmation). The company plans to expand the service to include notifications for maturity insurance claims and annuity commencement applications in the future.


Customers can receive the necessary guidance after completing identity verification and consenting to the AI voice bot service. During the guidance process, it is possible to connect to a customer service representative. Customers can also process the matters they were notified about, such as premium payments and insurance claims, which is expected to enhance customer convenience.


Hong Hyejin, Head of Customer Service at Mirae Asset Life Insurance, said, "Through AI voice bot guidance, customers can receive important information for contract management more promptly. By connecting to the customer center during consultations, they can immediately handle necessary tasks, which will help prevent disadvantages caused by unpaid premiums or unclaimed maturity insurance benefits."
