This project was carried out as part of the "2025 Regional Specialized Content Development Support Project" organized by the Chungnam Content Agency. The students completed their work after about 168 hours of intensive training and practice, under the guidance of Professor Park Sungwon.

The works presented by the students include a total of eight pieces, such as "Haetae on an Outing" and "Cheonan Trope."

These works, which reinterpret traditional symbols and local culture in a modern way, utilized generative AI and engine graphics to provide an opportunity for Korean youth to showcase their creativity and regional identity on the global stage.

International media responded enthusiastically to the video, with reports stating, "It's amazing to see history and technology come together like this," and "It's moving to know that this was created by young people from Korea."

Citizens and Korean residents at the scene also expressed their excitement, shouting "Long live Korean independence" as they watched the video.

Among the 12 participating students, three visited New York in person, where they interacted with the School of Visual Arts (SVA), a leading global design education institution, and experienced the latest trends in the content industry. This was a valuable opportunity to develop capabilities that go beyond simple video production and prepare for success on the global stage.

Professor Park Sungwon stated, "Starting from the 2026 academic year, Hoseo University's Department of Animation will be reorganized into an Animation School to focus on nurturing talent in AI and other new technologies," adding, "We will continue to actively support our students so they can grow into content professionals who can reach the world."
