Nurturing Customized Talent for Companies
The IPP Project Group at Dong-Eui University (headed by Sangpil Lee) was recently selected as an Outstanding University (S Grade) in the "2024 Work-Study Dual System Joint Training Center Performance Evaluation" conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea.
In this performance evaluation, Dong-Eui University demonstrated excellent results in key indicators such as ▲achievement rate of learning workers' goals and training retention rate, ▲participation rate of new learning companies, and ▲external evaluation pass rate.
In particular, the university also received high marks in satisfaction surveys conducted among learning companies and learning workers.
Since being designated as a work-study dual system operating institution by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2015, the Dong-Eui University IPP Project Group has dispatched 30 to 40 students annually to about 20 learning companies. Through programs based on the National Competency Standards (NCS), the university has established a curriculum that systematically cultivates practical skills required in the field.
Sangpil Lee, head of the IPP Project Group, stated, "Being selected as an Outstanding University is an objective recognition of the excellent results of Dong-Eui University's employment-linked work-study dual system initiatives. Moving forward, we will continue to actively support students in strengthening their practical skills and exploring career paths, and do our utmost to nurture customized talent required by the local community and learning companies."
