On September 12, the 'Fill Job Fair' will be held in the multipurpose hall on the second floor of the Government Sejong Complex Gymnasium, aiming to alleviate the labor shortage in the root industry and professional science and technology sectors and to support employment for related talents.
According to the city of Sejong on September 8, this event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and organized by the Sejong Job & Economy Promotion Agency. Officials explained that the fair is designed to provide job seekers with on-site recruitment opportunities.
The job fair will feature on-site interviews and recruitment consultations with nine companies from the root industry, including Coavis, LED Lightech, and Damotech, as well as eleven companies from the professional science and technology sector, such as Macrogen, Water Eyes, and Dailysoft. In addition, ten related organizations, including the Sejong Job & Economy Promotion Agency, Sejong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Industry-Academia Cooperation Group of Hongik University Sejong Campus, will participate to provide job-related information.
In particular, the event will offer programs to help participants learn about the latest employment trends, such as special employment lectures by professional instructors, a policy briefing session by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and company presentations. Customized services for job seekers will also be available, including support for writing resumes and self-introduction letters, interview makeup, and ID photo shoots.
Kim Hyunki, Director of Economic and Industrial Affairs, stated, "The 2025 Sejong Fill Job Fair will be more than just an event; it will be an opportunity to give hope to job seekers," adding, "We will strive to discover quality jobs, provide employment information, and resolve job mismatches."
